Certains dises que non, mais pour moi, quand je l'ai changé j'ai enlevé ma courroie de distribution.

But now the pomp d'eau have a rupture and leakes water.
I have new pump to change but I have doubt if is necessary to take off the distribution.

La distribution est neuve.
Mais maintenant la pompe à eau est endommagée et fuit.
J'ai une pompe neuve en remplacement, mais je ne sais pas s'il faut déposer la distribution.

Dam's changed his water pump, and he removed the distribution belt to do that.

Dams said there is a way to change the pump with out removing the distribution but he didn't said how

On a 1 HD-FT, for sure, you need to remove the T belt to be able to access all the screws of the water pump.

I'm not sure for the 1HD-T.
